Its seems Jacko may be to tour next year, co-inciding with his album release and Thriller 25 album. Although the aging popstar has had alot of setbacks his fan base is still going strong worldwide. AEG has been talking to Jackson about doing a tour. The proposal is to do a series of shows just at the O2 Arena outside of London, the same venue where Led Zeppelin just played. The promoters are hoping Jacksons worldwide appeal will be good enough to draw in enough fans. The shows would run from March through April, all at O2. Word is that the basis of the show would co-incide with the 25th anniversary re-creation of “Thriller” to go along with the soon to be released Sony CD and video package. AEG’s Randy Phillips, who used to co manage Rod Stewart, is behind the plan. Sources say he and Jackson have met several times, and that Michael “is in good shape.”This is just in the talking stages and you never know what will happen,” says a source. Celebrity Rag

As expected, Michael Jackson will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his iconic "Thriller" album with a new edition of the set, due Feb. 12 via Epic/Legacy Recordings. It will include remixes by Kanye West, Akon and will.i.am, plus rare and unreleased material from the time period.

West remixes "Billie Jean," while will.i.am has revamped "The Girl Is Mine" and "P.Y.T." The album also features a new version of "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" with both Akon and will.i.am.

Among the unreleased tracks is "For All Time," which was recording during "Thriller" but left on the cutting room floor. Jackson has personally mixed and mastered the song. Also featured is Jackson's original "Billie Jean" demo and the rarities "Someone in the Dark" and "Carousel."

"Thriller" will include a bonus DVD with the "Thriller," "Beat It" and "Billie Jean" videos, plus Jackson's performance of the latter cut during the 1983 NBC special "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever."

Jackson has been working on and off on his first studio album since 2001, but the status of the project is unknown. There have also been whispers of a tour with his brothers in 2008.

Michael Jackson is set to rejoin The Jackson Five for a world tour next year, according to his
brother Jermaine.

The brothers – Tito, Jermaine, Michael, Jackie, Marlon and Randy – last toured together as a six-piece in 1984 before Michael left, in between his massive-selling 'Thriller' and 'Bad' albums.

Jermaine said: “We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public.”

Asked whether Michael would be involved, Jermaine told BBC 6Music: “He has to be, he is a Jackson. He was at the meetings. Michael will be involved.”
